I have truly enjoyed my time at CCHS and cherish the friendships I have developed over my eleven years here at CCHS. I have enjoyed watching the Razorbacks over the years reach their potential and go out from the halls of CCHS to do great things in our community and throughout the nation. Next year, I will be the principal of a new program in the Richmond County School System called RPM (Reaching Potential Through manufacturing). I will miss my Razorback family but I am excited about the opportunity to embark on a new and innovative way of helping students be successful and the chance to extend the work of helping students to all of the high schools in Richmond County.
Next year, Mrs. Glenda Collingsworth will be serving as the principal of Cross Creek High School. Mrs. Collingsworth is a familiar member of the Razorback Nation who worked extensively with CCHS as the principal of one of our awesome, feeder middle schools. Mrs. Collingsworth has been the principal at Pine Hill Middle School for the past seven years and served as the principal of Diamond Lakes elementary for three years prior to that. I know, without a doubt, she will help continue the tradition of excellence and lead our school to new levels of success. We will host a meet and greet on Thursday, June 23rd from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the CCHS cafeteria. All stakeholders are invited. Please come out and welcome Mrs. Collingsworth to one of the best schools in Richmond County and the state of Georgia.
