I graduated from Augusta State University in December 2001.  I completed my master's degree through the University of Phoenix in 2006.  I have been with Richmond County since August 2002 when I was hired at Goshen Elementary and I taught there until May 2007.  I started at Hephzibah Elementary in August 2007 and the 2019-2020 school year will mark my 13th year here.  I am very happy to announce that Hephzibah Elementary qualified for Gold Status with the Governor's Shape Honor Roll this year. We hope to continue that trend and get back to Platinum this year.  We need to keep our students healthy and active!  We are also starting our 4th year of being part of the NFL/FitnessGram Initiative. It has been an honor to be the only CSRA school to be part of this initiative.  4th and 5th grade will be kicking the year off with the FitnessGram, so make sure they are being as active as possible!  (Remember, at least 60 minutes a day!)  I hope everyone is ready for another great year of learning.
