Ms. Vera M. Lytch

Hello All;

My name is Vera M Lytch and currently reside in Augusta, Ga- Richmond County.  I am currently in my 8th year as a Special Education Teacher at Lake Forest Hills Elementary. I have over 20 years’ of experience working within the State of Georgia(working with Disabled/Challenged Individuals), Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice and an additional 8 years with Richmond County Board of Education.  Throughout my career within the State of Georgia and currently within RCBOE, I've received various degrees of training and certificates dealing with different types of behaviors and situations. I enjoy working with all youth and I am very passionate about the job I do.

I graduated Honor Grad with a Master's of Education in Special Education at the University of Phoenix in May 2013, while working fulltime at the Augusta RYDC. I also have an Associate's of Art(1995) degree in Criminal Justice(Honor Grad) and a Bachelor's of Science(2005) in Public Administration with a minor in Criminal Justice. I graduated from George P. Butler High School(Augusta, Ga) in 1989 and grew up in the Augusta, Ga area most of my life.

I found my whole educational and work career very challenging and rewarding with many teachable moments and received high marks on all my evaluations.
