Mrs. Davenport
I was born and raised here in Augusta, GA and I graduated from Cross Creek High School in 2004. I went on to attend Georgia Southern University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I have been teaching for ten years. I began my career teaching special education Pre-K, then started at McBean as a Pre-K teacher. I have now been teaching Special Education at McBean for eight years. I am very involved in various roles in the school. I am the Lead Teacher for Special Education, I am the Professional Association of Georgia Educators Building Contact, I am a Richmond County S.M.A.R.T Mentor Teacher and I am a Clinical Teacher for the Augusta University Partner School Network. I am also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Pi Lambda Theta which are both Leadership Honor's Societies. In my spare time, I like to sing, travel, fish, hunt, volunteer with my church and spend time with my family.
