    Course Overview

    Technological Systems is designed for students to utilize the universal systems model including input, process, output and feedback.  Students will examine various systems, such as electrical, magnetic , mechanical, fluid, structural, natural, thermal, chemical and information.  Students will learn how various systems work together.  Technological Systems reinforces the areas of math, science, social studies and language arts through practical application and/or hands on activities.


        Evaluation (per nine weeks)

    • Major projects and summative assessments  (50%)

    • In-class technical drawings (manual and CADD)  (30%)

    • Unit key terms assessments  (20%)             

    • Grade Recovery opportunities will be permitted on an as needed basis and individualized due to the nature of the assignments. 

    • Please refer to the Student Code of Conduct regarding Make-Up Work requirements.

    Supplies Needed

    • 3 ring binder
    • Pencils
    • Pens


    • Check SCHOOLOGY for assignments, announcements, and more.

    • The CADD Lab is available for students to complete assignments, make up assessments, projects, tutoring, etc. after school, Monday – Thursday*, 3:00 until 4:00.

    • All requests to stay after school must be made at least 24 hours in advance via email.  Students must provide written parent permission with signature and contact number to the teacher when staying after school.  Students must be picked up no later than 4:10 p. m.

    *Please note that the CADD Lab may be closed due to special staff meetings, etc.
