  • November 2020 5th Grade Classroom Guidance "Technology Tail" by Julia Cook

Julia Cook takes the time to share her story and lesson about how what we write and post online can follow us everywhere. This Bookends lesson is read by Julia Cook the author, which gives us extra insight into why this topic is important to discuss with everyone.

  • November 2020 4th Grade "Making Friends is an Art" by Julia Cook

Julia Cook authored another great story helping students learn some important attributes about being a good friend while also like ourself for everything that makes us unique. Being positive and kind goes a long way and this story teaches a great lesson.

  • November 2020 3rd Grade "I want to do it my way" by Julia Cook

Another great lesson and story on asking adults for help and being open to learning new ways of doing things. Julia Cook does a great job, once again with the story.

  • November 2020: 1st/2nd Grade My Mouth is a Volcano by Julia Cook

Julia Cook is one of my favorite authors of topics relatable to students in various situations. This story is about a student that "erupts" and learns a new way to manage his blurting out or his volcano.

Julia Cook reads this in her series "Book Ends".
