Welcome to Student Services!
The Department of Student Services is a support unit of the Richmond County Board of Education that emcompasses many areas of specialization. The primary goal is to provide the highest level of support to students, staff, parents and the community of Richmond County. Support includes School Counseling, School Social Work, School Nursing, Student Records, Psychological Services, Research, Hospital/Homebound Services, Crisis Management, Homeless Students, Foreign Exchange Students, and Safe and Drug Free Schools.
This department also oversees the design and implementation of a comprehensive state and local testing program. It collects, organizes and disseminates data to schools, parents, administrators, and board members to enable stakeholders to make data driven decisions for improving student learning.
