Degrees and Certifications:

Coach Lori L. Wooley

I have been a teacher in the Richmond County school system for 21 years. Until 4 years ago, I have spent my entire career at Morgan Road Middle School. I have enjoyed teaching Health, PE, and middle grades Math. Working with students opens my eyes and makes me aware of the current issues and trends that our students are facing daily. This allows me to help my students become self-reliant, determined and compassionate young adults.

I have always been an advocate for education. I feel that every few years I return to school to better myself. I attended Brewton-Parker College for my undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science) in Health and Physical Education and graduated in 1997. I began my teaching career in January 2001. After a few years of teaching, I returned to school at Augusta State University (now Augusta University) and obtained my Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2005 and my Specialist's degree in Educational Leadership in 2006. Currently, I am attending Liberty University and will complete my Doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction within the next year; hoping to graduate in 2022.

I have four children (2 step and 2 bio): Hannah- 22 (senior in college), Ashton-21 (junior in college), Kristen - 21 (freshman in college) and Landon- 18 (just graduated high school). They are teaching me new things everyday through their life's experiences. I have loved being their mom, but they also know they have about 900 other brothers and sisters (my students are all my kids too). My husband, Kelby, and I have been married for eleven years and enjoy traveling together and working in the yard. Life is busy, but we always make time for family!

I look forward to teaching all my students and working with parents to help their children succeed! Contact me anytime via email with questions or concerns.
