Welcome to Ms. Clarke's Class
Dear Parent(s), or Guardian(s);
Welcome to RCTCM. My name is Felicia Clarke and I will be your son(s)/daughter(s) Computer Science Teacher. We are excited about this school year and the opportunity to impact your child’s educational endeavors. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure your children are able to meet or exceed their potential. We ask that you guide and support your son(s)/daughter(s) learning by ensuring that they:
- Attend school regularly, arrive on time, and be prepared
- Complete all assignments, (classwork, homework, and performance task)
- Routinely login (at home) if you have a computer to check on student’s status
- Daily chapter reading(s) (online)
- Share school experience with you to keep you aware
- Know that you expect him/her to flourish, to be college or career ready.
The Cyber Security, Networking and Computer Science course is part of the GADOE Information Technology Pathway program. Our program is striving to encourage students to augment their interest and enhance their knowledge of the fundamental networking skills and computer skills to create a solid foundation for Information Security skills. During the course of the school year, we will cover essential topics such as the Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability (CIA) triad, access control measures, and processes of keeping data secured especially in today's world of social networking and its risks.
Additional information about the class is provided in the course syllabus. Please review the syllabus. If you have any other concerns, please feel free to contact me. Communication is a huge part of your child’s success.
If you have any questions/concerns, would like to visit our classroom, schedule a conference, or volunteer to help out, you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (706) 823-6946.
I am excited about working with your child. I welcome questions or comments, and I am looking forward to a great year!
