• Week at a Glance 

     

     08-06-2019--08-09-2019 WEEK 1

    Personal Fitness... Students will learn the five components of physical fitness which entails: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility, and body composition. This week's focus will be on muscular strength.

     

    Physical Education...Students will learn the basic rules and regulations of each sport activity during P.E.. This week's focus will be on Soccer. 

     

    08-12-2019--08-16-2019 WEEK 2 

    Physical Education...This week's  focus will be on learning the rules and regulations of Soccer which will entail watching Soccer videos as well as engaging in our regular scheduled physical activities.

    Personal Fitness...Students will have a review of Chapter 1 "Health and Wellness." Students will begin Chapter 2 "Successful Decisions and Goals." 

     

     

    August 6-30, 2019: Physical Education 6, 7 & 8

      

    Students in PE classes will learn the five components of the Georgia Fitness Gram Assessment: BMI, FLEXIBILITY, CURL-UPS, &  PACER RUN. Students' scores will be recorded on each assessment.

    Students will learn the basic rules and regulations of Soccer. Students will be actively engaged in motor skills, drills, and lead up games as they pertain to the game of Soccer.

     

    August 6-30, 2019: Physical Fitness 8th Grade

    Students in Personal Fitness classes will be actively engaged in accessing the five components of the Georgia Fitness Gram. Students will be self-accessing their BMI, FLEXIBILITY, 

    CURL-UPS, PUSH-UPS & the PACER RUN for Pre-Test Scores.
