Ms. Minimarie Andrews

Ms. Andrews loves the world of visual arts in exploring it's depths in creativity, various mediums, history, culture, and shares that exposure of arts to her students. Fine Arts education is her passion. Ms. Andrews strives to encourage her students to tap into their creative genius in exploring the world around them, cultivate their talents, and to introduce them to a diversity of visual artists. She's a native of Augusta, Georgia. She's a proud graduate of T.W. Josey High School, there discovered her interests in performing arts. Ms. Andrews received her Bachelors of Art with emphasis in Broadcasting at Paine College in Augusta.  She served at the Boys and Girls Club of Augusta "Club Hagler"and at the Thompson branch as the Art Director for several years. Ms. Andrews has worked both in the public, private, and homeschooling sector within fine arts education. She formally worked for the Art Factory of Augusta, 21st Century's After- school program, and various community outreach youth programs. She also served as a fine arts teacher at. K.K.P.S. Academy. Ms. Andrews has seventeen years of experience in serving youth through fine arts education in various capacities in dance, music, visual arts, and theater. She serves and volunteers at many local youth events centered around ministry and the arts. She's a proud Hornby's jaguar, and she is honored to be apart of the Hornsby Middle School family.
