  • Update about Distance Learning in Spanish (Week April 27th-May 1st)

Posted by Yelitza Maura on 4/16/2020

    Dear parents and students,

I would like to give an update on things, in case you have not heard, Distance Learning classes will end May 8th, 2020. However, if for any reason your student has not submitted their work by then, they have until May 22, 2020 to do so. This information comes from Richmond County's Board of Education. Please note that if your student does submit their work, they will not be given a zero but they will automatically received the lowest grade that can be given, a C and in the lower grades the grading is based as a pass or fail.

As teachers we truly aapreciate everything that is being done at home to help out the students, we just have a couple of weeks to go...You are doign great, keep up the great work parents and students!!!

Just as a reminder: Please make sure the students submit their work for all subjects including all Specials classes!!! If there are questions or concerns feel free to send an email or log into remind and send a text, we are here to help.

🗣Shout out to the following students for submitting their work

🤩2nd Grade: Liam Carlton and Amelia Jackson

    😍3rd Grade: Kaitlyn Smyre

    ¡Hola Chicos y Padres!

I want to welcome you all to our Distance Learning in Español. These next few weeks will be challenging but not without success! Below you will find a few references for each grade level. Parents and students, please be advise that every week our weekly goals will change but all I ask is that if you can spend half an hour each day practicing our daily warmup and spend twice a week doing the work; the student will be able to do succeed. Below you will have attached the remind code, so that you can get any notifications about the class, but always feel free to contact me through the app, your classroom teacher or email.

Please note that all the work will be posted through Edmodo, each grade level will have its own access code to enter the platform and access the information (EXCEPT Kindergarten and First). Students can access this app through their Classlink Launch Pad. The icon should be found in the apps if not seen in the main platform. The student can log in using their school base email.
