Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Fisher LMSW

I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and my Licensure in the state of Georgia. My Undergraduate Degree is in Sociology with a minor in Gerontology from Augusta University.

Originally, I am from Wisconsin and grew up on a dairy farm in a rural community. Shortly after graduating High School, I left Wisconsin when I joined the United States Army Reserves and fell in love with the warmer weather down South. I have lived in several different states and have had many new experiences and enjoyed the different cultures of where I lived by being a military spouse. But, no matter where I have been, Georgia has always been my favorite place to live.

I have four children, three boys and one girl. My two oldest children have graduated High School, with my oldest son Steven being in the United States Army and Bailey is in the Untied States Navy. My two youngest children SJ and Penelope are in Elementary School.

I believe that all students should be given an equal opportunity to learn, so that they may flourish in their school, home, and community environment. That school should be a place where students feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. School should be a place where every students' unique qualities are understood, encouraged, and celebrated, while giving them the tools to learn so that they may succeed in life, as well as in all of their endeavors.
