Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)

The Armed Services Vocational Battery (ASVAB) is a heavily researched and well-respected aptitude test developed by the Department of Defense. It measures a young adult's strengths and potential for success in military training. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP), is used for career exploration and is given in high schools and community colleges, at job corps, and at correctional facilities. 

 

For CCRPI, the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Qualifying Test score of 31 will indicate military readiness. 

 

Who Takes It?

High School Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade

 

When/How frequently is it taken?

Fall or Spring

 

How is it administered?

Both Computer and Paper/Pencil
