Greetings Parents and Students!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Ms. Kwanda Reid-Palmer.  I am the school counselor here at Jenkins-White Elementary School. 

As the school counselor, I provide brief individual counseling on a range of topics such as social skills, conflict resolution, grief/loss, etc.  Small groups are also conducted based on a variety of needs.  Classroom guidance occurs monthly for each class on topics related to character development along with topics to include bullying prevention, friendship, tolerance, etc.  I also meet with parents and collaborate with teachers and other faculty and staff members.

My primary responsibility as a school counselor will be to provide academic, personal and social-emotional developmental services for all students.
