Mr. Matthew Blanco
My name is Matthew Blanco and I am a Cyber Teacher here at the Cyber Academy of Excellence at Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School and I also teach at the Academy of Richmond County. Nothing makes me happier than for me to work with parents/guardians to open doors in your child’s educational endeavors. This partnership works to ensure that your child meets or exceeds their potential.
The Cyber Security course is part of the GADOE Information Technology Pathway program. Currently, I’m teaching “Introduction to Networking” during which students will cover such topics as: the OSI model, Network security, and Internet protocols. You can find additional information about the course by reviewing the course syllabus. If you have any other concerns, please feel free to contact me. Communication is a huge part of your child’s success. Working together, we can guide and support your child to ensure that they: are prepared when attending school, complete all their assignments, check their student status regularly, read all required chapters, talk to me with questions or comments, and understand that we expect him/her to flourish for college or career.
Through this program, the fundamental networking and computer skills create a solid foundation for information security skills I believe encourage students to augment their interest and enhance their knowledge.
If you would like to schedule a conference, visit our classroom or have any questions/concerns, I invite you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am excited about working with your child. I welcome questions or comments, and I am looking forward to a great year!
