Hello, I am looking forward to this school year. I am new to ARC as a teacher, but not new all together, as I am an alumni. I have lived her majority of my life. I have a beautiful daughter and grand daughter. I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a Master's in Special Education. This is my 6th year teaching in Special Education, but overall I have been teaching for 18 years. If you ever have any questions please feel free to call or text(preferred).   • Instruction

    Student instruction is broken down into 5 areas:

    Functional Curriculum and Academics

    Independent Living Skills

    Pre- Vocational Activities

    Community Skills

    Recreation / Leisure

    Students will also participate in Adaptive P.E. and Music.

    Grades are determined based on mastery of IEP goals and objectives, attendance, and participation in classroom activities / exercises.

    Journals will be sent home on a daily basis that document the days activities, events, issues and concerns. Parents are encouraged to review and respond if necessary.
