• Welcome to Math at T.W. Josey! I'm excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I'm looking forward to a happy, positive, and productive school year. Curriculum areas we will focus on this year include but are not limited to: business and math skills, real-world application of mathematics, and human relations skills. Students are asked to bring the following supplies to school: a notebook, pencils, and the desire to learn if applicable to the course of study. The homework policy is set in place to encourage students and to give them the confidence they need to succeed in this course. It is not made to stifle their potential but rather enhance their abilities to prosper in the culinary field. The grading policy is fair and impartial; students are expected to complete all assignments to their entirety to the best of their abilities. All students are expected to exude respect, determination, positivity, and mindfulness towards everyone and everything. Please try your best to be involved in the activities/events that are connected to the math program. Parental involvement in a child's education is one of the strongest indicators of student achievement. We hope you will make it a priority this year to attend as many school-sponsored events as possible.
