     Mrs. Vaughan

Hello, I am Mrs. C. Vaughan, a native of the great Magnolia State, Mississippi.  For over thirty years, I have enjoyed encouraging, motivating, guiding and teaching young people to develop and define their talents and dreams.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Mississippi-Ole Miss and continued with a Masters of Science in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University-Tennessee.  I truly believe that every student holds an innate ability and capability to learn beyond their imagination.  It is a joy to work with students.  I encourage ALL of my students to reach beyond the Stars.  I foresee great things happening in each of your lives!!

    Important Information/Announcements

In keeping with the health authority recommendations, Richmond County Schools are switching to a distance learning model.  In support of these efforts, the Glenn Hills High School Student Services Department will continue to work diligently to ensure that our students' education is still attainable.

I, your Counselor, will maintain the same office hours from 7:15-3:15 Monday-Friday.  You can reach me via email at evanscr@boe.richmond.k12.ga.us or via REMIND.

Students, I have set up communication via REMIND for each of my cohorts, 2021 (12th graders) and 2022 (11th graders). Click on the REMIND link to the left, be sure to click on your cohort, and use the information and specifc join code to sign up. Once joined, you will begin to recieve updated information and words of encouragement from me during this time.  Parents, there is also a REMIND set up for you to join and receive updated information. Information will be shared via text messages using the REMIND app.

As always, my Spartan Family, I am here to serve you with encouragement and guidance as we strive toward excellence.  I ask that you contact me via email or REMIND with any questions/concerns.

Students, continue learning via Canvas or Face to Face (F2F). It is extremely important for our distant learning (Canvas/Edgenuity) students to log in on scheduled synchronous (live meetings) times and asynchronous (unscheduled working on your own) timesI am expecting each of my students to continue their strong desire and thirst of knowledge/excellence.

Email me with questions/concerns.  Together, we will be successful.
