Hello Gems,

My name is Miss Welch and this is my third year at Diamond Lakes! I am originally from New Hampshire, which is waayyyy up north. I taught first grade for two years and now this is my third year teaching special education. I fully believe everyone should have a chance to learn in a way they are comfortable and happy. I love exploring and adventuring in learning and hope to help others love it too. 

A little about me. I love running, though it is a little bit hotter here than in New Hampshire, so I can't run outside as much. I have done a race every month since March of 2019. I love reading also. Some of my favorite authors are Rick Riordan, John Flanagan, and Mo Willems. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. In my down time I like to watch Bob Ross and try new recipes. Please feel free to email me any time with questions. My door (physical or virtual) is always open!
