Welcome Parents/Guardians 2019/20
We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with your incoming students in our program this year. We all know this is a major step in their academic lives and we feel honored to be a part of it. Their weeks and months will be filled with learning.
I am Ms. Searles, one of the ResourceTeachers here at Hephzibah Elementary. I graduated from Cambridge College with a Masters in Special Eduation and this will be my sixth year teaching in Richmond County, five as a Pre-K Teacher and will be my second year as a Resource Teacher.
I feel a successful Parent/Teacher relationship, is the blueprint for a successful Teacher/Student relationship. Communication is done via notes, phone calls/texts, Class Dojo and in person. Educating a student takes both teams, and both teams supporting each other as the student prepares for one grade to the next and from one school level to the next.
Please feel free to call: 706-592-4561/fax 3703 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
It will be an honor to be working with your child/student this coming school year.
Tips for the school year:
* Study what you learned the day each night
*Read a chapter from a chapter book each night
*Recite your Multiplication Fact daily; just pick a number and recite them till you know all 12
*Get plenty of rest the night before (no napping in class), especial the night before a test
*Do your homework each night (if out get it from a classmate)
