    About Mrs. Carter

    My name is Summer Carter, sixth grade ELA teacher and I am glad to welcome you and your child to my classroom this year. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Education and later obtained an additional degree in Business Administration. Upon graduating from college, my initial plans changed and I joined the U.S. Army. After a short stint in the U.S. Army I began working in the public sector.

     

    Teaching has always been my desire; therefore, I am humbled by this opportunity to teach children. I understand that this school year looks a little different than years past. However, I am expecting this year to be a great year full of lots of learning and success.
