Latasha Louis is a graduate of John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School (2005).

Ms. Louis is a multi-disciplinary creative and entrepreneur with a focus on product design and branding strategy. She received a Bachelors degree from Southern Polytechnic State University in Apparel and Textile Engineering Technology: Fashion Design & Product Development, and attended the MBA-Innovation program at Mercer University, where she also received a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. As a graduate student, she completed a residency in Silicon Valley where she forged relationships with startups and companies like Apple, Ernest, Evernote, Kiva, and Andreessen Horowitz. She has also presented design research in Heidelberg, Germany, Montreal, Canada, and Istanbul, Turkey at the International Association of Clothing Designers and Executives’ (IACDE) World Convention. In January of 2020, she became a published children's picture book illustrator.

Ms. Louis is extremely excited to be back to her Alma Mater as an art educator and incorporating her experiences as well as business management and career discovery into the visual art curriculum.
