Hello, my name is Mrs. Jessup and I'm the Media Specialist here at Hornsby Elementary! This will be my third year both here at Hornsby and as a media specialist. Before becoming a media specialist, I worked in public libraries in Florida and Tennessee. I've always had a huge love of reading. I used to get up extra early in the mornings so I could read more of my book before school started. I love getting lost in other worlds and discovering new and exciting places. And I absolutely love helping others fall in love with reading as well. I believe that if someone doesn't like to read, they just haven't found the right book yet. And that's why I'm here, to help my students find that book and to nurture that interest until they blossom into a lifelong reader.
