Hello and Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! I am Coach Johnson and I will be teaching your child this year in Health/Physical Education. I was born and raised in North Augusta, SC and graduated from North Augusta High School in 2009. I attended the Air Force Academy and Coastal Carolina University for my collegiate experience, where I played football for 4 years. I graduated Coastal Carolina with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion and recieved my Master's Degree from Arkansas State in Sports Administration.

This is my 8th year in education (2nd year at Westside). I have taught Health, PE, and weightlifting, as well as coach football and golf here at Westside. I grew up with a sports background and can't wait to teach your son/daughter the importance of being healthy and physically fit with competence in a variety of different sports! I am excited and look forward to seeing you soon!
