A.R. Johnson Counseling Department

My name is Emily Kelm and I am the counselor for grades 6 through 9 at A. R. Johnson. 

I am an alumni of Indiana University, where I received an M.S.Ed. in Counseling in 2019.

Before I became a counselor, I received a B.A. in creative writing from Columbia College Chicago.

I am a third generation educator with over a century of family history in the Richmond County School System.

For this reason, I am especially proud to be serving you and your family at A. R. Johnson.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy writing and playing music, sound engineering, and writing short stories.

I have been heavily involved in the local art and music scene since 2003.

I love history, space exploration, video games, and my dog, Laika.
