Ms. Christina Williams
I have been a Richmond County teacher for 28 years. I love to read and want all my students to love reading too. Reading opens the door for all other learning. This year your student will learn to read many different genres of literature. Comprehension will be strengthened through group work, collaboration with peers, small group practice, and homework. Let's work together to help our students to be awesome readers that can use their skills to become life-long learners.
Signed Papers: Signed Papers will come home every Wednesday. Please go over any papers that are below 80 and insure that your child understand the material. Please sign and return the folder by Thursday.
Homework Folders: Your child will bring home a homework notebook every day. Please check your child's homewok agenda each night to insure that your child is completing the assigned work. Students will be given their homework on Monday and it is due on Friday. Please make sure that your child is reading for twenty minutes each night.
Being Prepared: It is very important that students come to school prepared to learn each day. Please make sure that your studnet comes to school each day with a bookbag, sharpened pencils, paper, and their homework folder. Students also need a good night's rest to be successful.
