My philosophy is to set high expectations for myself and others through academic excellence. The commitment to succeed is transferred to students and parents because I believe in empowerment through knowledge. My favorite quote is “The key to unlocking any door is knowledge use the key toward success” (Unknown, n. d). I commit to creating an engaging, standard-base classroom or program that will allow students or parents to experience an environment of achievement. I will work diligently to foster a real-world understanding of the importance of teamwork and academic success.  My goal is to continue to establish and maintain a collaborative partnership with the faculty, students, parents and community partners to help maintain the effectual procedure of the Murphey Middle School.
