We are having our class Winter Party on Thursday, December 20th at 1:30 PM. Below is a list of food our students have said they would like to eat at the party. If you are able to contribute any of these items, please check 3, and I will choose 1 for you to bring once all lists have been returned. If you are unable to provide any of these items, but would still like to contribute, please let me know in writing what you are able to send.
I also would like to have a book exchange this day in place of exchanging Holiday gifts or presents. In order for us to have a successful book exchange, I am asking for every parent to send 1 new or gently-used children’s book to be exchanged between the students. (Please make sure the books are in good condition, meaning no ripped/torn pages or covers, no stains on/in the book, and no writing on/in book). It would be extra special if you could send in a copy of your child’s or family’s favorite book. This is an excellent way for our students to learn more about each other and each other’s families. It also introduces them to new books and can help foster a love for reading!
It is important that every parent agrees to bring-in a book in order for our book exchange to be a success. In order for me to determine if this is possible, please check below if your family will or will not participate in the book exchange. Once I have gotten all the information, I will send notices out about the book exchange.
Please return this sheet with your choices no later than Wednesday, December 12th. I will place a note in your child’s folder on Thursday, December 13th letting you know what to bring based off of your choices. Please be able to provide enough food for 20 students.
