It is such a pleasure to welcome our students back to school this year. My name is Ms. Lucky and I look forward to getting to know your children.
I made a huge decision this year to move out of PE and work in a different capacity here at HES. I will still be at the car rider line every day and still teaching and loving my students.
I love teaching at Hephzibah Elementary and am excited to be moving in a new direction.
About Ms Lucky
Name Susan Lucky
Grade(s): K-5
Subject(s): Physical Education
I was born in VA, graduated high school in TN, and then moved to GA in 1987. I started my college career in TN, so I will always be a VOL fan. I have a son named Brent who is 27 years old and is a NAVY Nuke. I raised him right, so he is also a TN fan. Hahaha! I love animals. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat and have been known to climb in cars at the car rider line to pet the fur babies that come through. I graduated from Augusta State University in December 2001. I completed my master's degree through the University of Phoenix in 2006. I have been with Richmond County since August 2002 when I was hired at Goshen Elementary and I taught there until May 2007. I started at Hephzibah Elementary in August 2007 and the 2021-2022 school year will mark my 15th year here. We need to keep our students healthy and active! (Remember, at least 60 minutes a day!) I hope everyone is ready for another great year of learning.
