It is hard to believe we are almost half way through the 3rd 9 weeks. This year seems to be going by quickly.
We have learned many new concepts already this year and using them to move on and get ready for 2nd grade. If you do not feel your child is learning as fast, please let me know and we will have a meeting. They should be on track for 2nd grade. Thank you for all you do. It takes us all to help in education and prepare these students to be great citizens and lifelong learners. I have learned, having my own child, they grow up too fast!
Again, thank you for all you do....homework, reading to and being read to, teaching non stop about life, and helping me when I need you! I am very appreciative! My office hours are Mon-Fri from 8-8:30am and/or 4:30-5pm and 1-1:40 on Wednesday and Friday, upon request.Tutoring is available, by appointment only, on Wednesdays from 4:30-5pm, you must pick them up by 5pm.Also, remember, Richmond County moved to Standards Based Grading last year. 1=beginning to learn the standard, 2=knows some of the standard, but cannot fully demonstrate an understanding of the standard, 3=can fully demonstrate an understanding of the standard, 4=excels within and beyond the standard.
