    Mini Biography:  I grew up as a "military brat," having lived in Europe for most of that time and graduating from high school in Germany. I was also lucky enough to spend time living in Japan and Hawaii. I have been teaching at Cross Creek High School since 2011. My husband is a fellow teacher at Cross Creek. He teaches math. Our five sons graduated from CC, so it is safe to say we LOVE our school! I am a former field biologist specializing in birds and reptiles (so I definitely prefer the hands-on approach to science)!
