I am a 1993 graduate of Whitmire High School. I attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. While teaching secondary science courses at Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta, Georgia I received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University. I also hold an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.

I served as an Academic Support Specialist for 2 years. I provided support to teachers and worked with the school's administrative staff as an integral part of the school's Instructional Leadership Team.

I have taught a variety of science courses throughout my 19 year career as an educator such as Human Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology, Marine Biology, Earth Science and Life Science.

I am an advocate for students and teachers. I am thrilled to join the Academy of Richmond County family as Assistant Principal. I look forward to working with students, faculty, parents, staff and community members in an effort to continue ARC's tradition of academic excellence.
