• Welcome! I am excited about working with your child this school year. This is my 40th year as a teacher of students with autism. I have a passion for the students in my care. I look forward to the growth each individual student gains throughout the year. I hope to give each child a voice, to develop the skills to be an active part of his or her family and community. I hope to help each child demonstrate the potential that is there.

I grew up in North Carolina. I attended Appalachian State University and received a Bachelors in Special Education. I earned my Masters in Special Ed at Augusta State and my Ed.S. in Teaching and Learning there as well. I am happily married to Chuck. I've been blessed to have 3 step children who grew up in our home. They have blessed us with 6 grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls. For many years I did competitive Latin and Ballroom dancing. In the past few years, my husband has taught me how to shoot Skeet and we enjoy participating in Skeet together.

I am fortunate this year to have an incredible young woman as my teaching assistant. Ms. Wright comes with an extensive  background in working with children with Special Needs. She is excellent with the students.

I look forward to a great year. Please don't hesitate to contact me with your concerns or needs.

     Sherri Walker-Lambert, Ed.S.
