Mrs. Olivia Heitt
Welcome back to this exciting 2019-2020 school year! My name is Mrs. Heitt and I am so excited to be back at Hephzibah! I am a native of Augusta and graduate of Evans High School. I recieved my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Georgia Regents University (2014) and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Armstrong State University (2017). I have taught in the Savannah-Chatham County, Liberty County, and Department of Defense Education Activity (Ft. Stewart) school systems prior to coming to Hephzibah in the fall of 2017. I am a member of the Alpha Mu Gamma Foreign Languages Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for academic excellence. I am excited to be teaching 10th rade literature (Mr. Warren), United States History (Mr. Streetman), Ecomonics (Mr. Pedano; 1st semester), World History, and 9th Grade Literature (Ms. Torres) for the 2019-2020 school year. Each class has been assigned Khan Academy.Information regarding username and password to access Khan Academy is included below. You may use this same login information for use across Khan Academy; make sure to secure class codes from other teachers if you are using Khan Academy for other classes. Click on the link to Khan Academy to access the website, you have already joined my class. Your first grade will be verification that you begin this course between 7:30 am and 11:59 p.m. starting, 3/18/2020 on Khan Academy. Please use the following link(s) to access your assignments for your class period. I will be actively monitoring you all over the break as well as assigning and entering grades on a weekly basis.
