Volunteering at Goshen
Our school depends on volunteers to assist in various ways, such as with field trips, classroom activities, fundraisers, PTO functions, and special events like Field Day. The process to become a volunteer at Goshen Elementary School is outlined below. As always, we implement such procedures for the safety of all students and staff. Please contact Ms. Woodward if you have any questions or wish to learn more about becoming a volunteer at Goshen.
1. Complete the Mandated Reporter Training online & receive a Certificate of Completion. This first step must be completed before you attend a volunteer training session at Goshen. Your Certificate of Completion for the Mandated Reporter Training is your admission ticket into a volunteer training session. Please click here for detailed instructions on completing this training.
2. Attend a volunteer training at Goshen. Volunteer trainings for the 2019-20 school year will be held once each month at Goshen at 9:00 a.m. on the following dates: August 15th, September 26th, October 17th, November 14th, December 19th, January 15th, February 19th, March 19th, & April 16th.
3. Complete paperwork with Ms. Woodward to formally apply for approval to be a volunteer at Goshen. Please note that a background check is required.
