Rightsizing Public Hearings

For the 2023-2024 school year, the Richmond County School System is proposing to close Willis Foreman Elementary School.

If the school closing is approved, Willis Foreman's students will attend one of the following three schools:  Blythe, Deer Chase or Hephzibah Elementary.

Members of the community are invited to participate in the public hearings to voice their concerns, view maps, listen to a presentation on the proposal, and to ask questions.

Thursday, March 2, 2023 @ Wheeless Road Elementary School, 6:00 pm

Wednesday, March 8, 2023 @ Willis Foreman Elementary School, 6:00 pm

Tuesday, March 14, 2023 @ RCSS Central Office, 6:00 pm

Tuesday, March 21, 2023 @ RCSS Central Office (Seek Final Approval), 6:00 pm
