Athletics

The Athletics Department of Richmond County School System strives to promote athletic programs that develop the ideals and fundamentals of good sportsmanship, high moral character, model behavior and leadership skills.   It is the responsibility of the administrators, teachers, parents and coaches to lead by example, making sure that student-athletes are offered the best opportunities to reach their highest athletic potential.  This department and its coaches are committed to high academic standards by offering athletes tutoring and study-hall sessions.  Our commitment includes making sure that student-athletes understand the seriousness of their responsibilities, and the privilege of representing their schools, communities, families, and themselves.
