PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
At Richmond County School System, parent involvement continues to be one of our goals for improving student achievement. Parent facilitators and designees from each Title I school attend monthly trainings facilitated by Title I Program Specialists at RCBOE. Training sessions are designed to build staff capacity in order for schools to conduct engaging, informative workshops for parents that afford them to build their capacity as they continue to influence their child's academic progress. In addition, we have a parent resource center that houses a wealth of technology and materials which can be checked out by parents.
