Eligibility/Requirements for Diabetes Scholars 2021 College Scholarships:

• High school Seniors with Type 1 diabetes are seeking a higher education at an accredited two or four-year university, college, technical or trade school.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Eligibility/Requirements for Diabetes Scholars 2021 Veterinary Scholarship:

• Veterinary students in either sophomore or junior standing with Type 1 diabetes are currently enrolled in a veterinary school.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

"Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association" awards two $1,000.00 scholarships to 2 candidates each year.

Any current, full-time, part-time student of an accredited or non-accredited institute, truck driving school or other logistics program, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to become eligible. There is no requirement of minimum age.

A scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.  It is intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study & is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.   You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

*High School Seniors attending school in Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, Lincoln, and Burke Counties (Georgia) with a minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale qualify.  

 Instructions for the Scholarship Applicant 

1. Fully complete the Google Application questions.

2.  Secure “two (2) letters of recommendations” from a teacher or school administrator for at least 1 of the 2 recommendations; and/or community leader who can validate your work ethics. These letters must be uploaded to this Google Application (downloaded in PDF format). 

3. Complete Essay: (A) The completed essay is required and must be uploaded in PDF format                      (B:)Topic:  Please describe how you have made a meaningful impact within your school and community through your leadership, support roles, community service, and extracurricular activities. If applicable, please share how this scholarship will support your educational and financial goals.

4. Official & Signed Transcript: Upload a PDF version of your official & signed transcript (from the individuals in the guidance counselors office) to this Google Application.

5. Photograph/Picture : You will need to upload a professional/graduation picture which may be displayed publicly if selected)

The Augusta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 Scholarship Application process. As part of our mission to increase access to postsecondary education, the Georgia Student Finance Commission has a variety of grants, loans and scholarships to help residents with the cost of a higher education.

The Augusta Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will award a scholarship to a high school senior to assist in the pursuit of his/her college education.

The National Association of University Women is an organization of college trained women whose purpose is to promote and conduct educational activities designed to provide community outreach services at every level of development.

The Augusta Branch of NAUW will award one scholarship to an African American young lady in the graduating senior class of 2025 in the amount of $500.00 to assist in her pursuit of a college education. The young lady selected to receive the scholarship will be notified by letter. The young lady will be required to provide an official verification of enrollment in order to receive the scholarship. Various Grants for African-American Students

This year, Peach State Federal Credit Union is awarding $277,000 in scholarships and educational grants to seniors graduating from high school and adults seeking career advancement.

• Applicants should not apply for more than one scholarship.
• Interested individuals should carefully review the criteria for our scholarships to ensure they are eligible to apply.
• Student scholarships are divided into three categories: merit-based, needs-based, and for students pursuing a degree in education. Students should select the category that best suits their needs.
• The Career Advancement Scholarships are for adult credit union members whose accounts are in good standing.

Peach State's Scholarship Program was established to honor the educators who founded their credit union. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis to seniors in high school and professionals seeking career advancement. The deadline is February 28, 2025.

The Pilot International Founders Fund supports five Scholarship Programs to benefit graduate and undergraduate students studying for a career in one of Pilot’s chosen areas of service focus – Encouraging Brain Safety & Health and/or Supporting Those who Care for Others.

Bob King Co-Pilot Memorial Scholarship:   Scholarships are based on community service, financial need, academic success, & application contents. Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. A student may re-apply & be granted the Bob King Co-Pilot Scholarship for no more than 3 additional years. Award amounts may vary, but will not exceed $1,500 per year for full time students and $750.00 for part time students. The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) offer assistance to students interested in a career in the graphic communications field.   The Foundation, along with its donors and sponsors, are working to build the future workforce of the graphic communications industry.                                                                                                                             Technical Writing Competition:  All full-time college or university students in either an undergraduate or graduate degree program approved by the PGSF may enter the competition. This 2024-2025 Presidential Scholarship is provided for high school seniors based on academic achievement, honors, extra-curricular activities, and leadership.  They must be college-bound students.  

Amount of Scholarship: $1,000

One $1,500.00 award for a potential college freshman planning to attend an HBCU or the University of Georgia and major in a public service field.   The application deadline for the Robbie Robinson Scholarship Fund is May 17, 2025.

Eligibiilty is students living or attending high school in Richmond or Columbia County with a sincere committment, motivation & interest to serve the community.   Must be of high moral character & possess a history of service to their school, neighborhood or community and demonstrated leadership qualities.    Winner receives $2,000.00.   Finalists receive $1,000.00 & $500.00

The organization provides opportunities for nuclear professionals to develop leadership skills, network, and provide public education outreach to the Central Savannah River Area about the benefits of nuclear science, technology, environmental stewardship, clean energy, and national security.

5 awards @ $5,000.00 each.   First 500 valid applicants will be considered.  SIXT rent a car is pleased to offer five high school seniors the opportunity to receive a $5,000 scholarship and become a SIXT scholar. The program is designed to assist high school students who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. 

This contest requires students to raise awareness about different legal issues. Applicants must create a public service advertisement video (PSA) about how to drive courteously.   Your PSA will be judged on the level of creativity and persuasiveness, as well as how informative it is.

 ELIGIBILITY:

The following people are eligible for the scholarship:

• High school seniors who have been accepted into a college, university, or trade school.
• Students who are currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school.
• People are accepted into a graduate school.

The Augusta Sports Council is now accepting nominations for our annual GAMES Scholarship Program. Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to selected local graduating high school student athletes. Nominations can be made online via the Augusta Sports Council website until April 1, 2025.

The Georgia Military Service Scholarship is worth about $85,000+ over four years!

The State of Georgia funds 42 full scholarships per year to Georgia high school seniors who agree to enlist in the Georgia Army National Guard, attend the University of North Georgia, participate in the Corps of Cadets, and commission as officers in the Georgia Army National Guard after graduating with their bachelor's degrees.

The scholarship covers almost all of your expenses, including tuition, books, uniforms, fees, meals, and housing.

The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Trailblazing Tau Omicron Zeta chapter is a group of dynamic, educated and professional women.  Students must be a high school senior enrolling in accredited technical colleges, 2-year colleges, and 4-year colleges are eligible for this scholarship.
