Diabetes Scholars Foundation’s College Scholarship
Recipients are selected based on activities, grades, volunteering, advocacy, leadership, essays and recommendations from a high school teacher/counselor.
Eligibility/Requirements for Diabetes Scholars 2021 College Scholarships:
- High school Seniors with Type 1 diabetes are seeking a higher education at an accredited two or four-year university, college, technical or trade school.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Eligibility/Requirements for Diabetes Scholars 2021 Veterinary Scholarship:
- Veterinary students in either sophomore or junior standing with Type 1 diabetes are currently enrolled in a veterinary school.

AES (Amica Extraordinary Service) Scholarship - $500.00
A scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted. It is intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study & is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

Barack Temple #256
Dear Board of Education:
I am pleased to inform you that the graduating 12th grade seniors within your school are being granted an opportunity to apply with the potential of receiving one of four $500 (five hundred dollars) Barack Temple #256 Scholarship. This scholarship was established to recognize outstanding high school students who demonstrate a financial need and have achieved positive academic records. The award value and other information about the scholarship is enclosed within the packet accompanying this letter.
To receive this scholarship, interested students are expected to complete two items. First, please review and sign the enclosed Release of Information Form. Second, we ask that students mail their completed application and references to the address listed below. Barack Temple #256 believe that both they and you are making a difference in the world. They are interested in hearing about you - your academic plans, activities, and career goals, as well as what this scholarship means to you.
The scholarship will be awarded directly to your student upon presentation of a college acceptance letter and receipt of their Release of Information Form. National Association of University Women Augusta Branch
The National Association of University Women is an organization of college trained women whose purpose is to promote and conduct educational activities designed to provide community outreach services at every level of development.
The Augusta Branch of NAUW will award one scholarship to an African American young lady in the graduating senior class of 2025 in the amount of $500.00 to assist in her pursuit of a college education. The young lady selected to receive the scholarship will be notified by letter. The young lady will be required to provide an official verification of enrollment in order to receive the scholarship. Peach State Federal Credit Union Scholarships
This year, Peach State Federal Credit Union is awarding $277,000 in scholarships and educational grants to seniors graduating from high school and adults seeking career advancement.
- Applicants should not apply for more than one scholarship.
- Interested individuals should carefully review the criteria for our scholarships to ensure they are eligible to apply.

Peach State Federal Credit Union Scholarships.

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) offer assistance to students interested in a career in the graphic communications field. The Foundation, along with its donors and sponsors, are working to build the future workforce of the graphic communications industry. Technical Writing Competition: All full-time college or university students in either an undergraduate or graduate degree program approved by the PGSF may enter the competition. Savannah River Site Women In Nuclear
The organization provides opportunities for nuclear professionals to develop leadership skills, network, and provide public education outreach to the Central Savannah River Area about the benefits of nuclear science, technology, environmental stewardship, clean energy, and national security.
SIXT SCHOLARS PROGRAM - $5,000.00
5 awards @ $5,000.00 each. First 500 valid applicants will be considered. SIXT rent a car is pleased to offer five high school seniors the opportunity to receive a $5,000 scholarship and become a SIXT scholar. The program is designed to assist high school students who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.
THE ANDREW FLUSCHE SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST - $500.00
This contest requires students to raise awareness about different legal issues. Applicants must create a public service advertisement video (PSA) about how to drive courteously. Your PSA will be judged on the level of creativity and persuasiveness, as well as how informative it is.
ELIGIBILITY:
The following people are eligible for the scholarship:
- High school seniors who have been accepted into a college, university, or trade school.
- Students who are currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school.
- People are accepted into a graduate school.

The Augusta Sports Council GAMES Scholarship Program
The Augusta Sports Council is now accepting nominations for our annual GAMES Scholarship Program. Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to selected local graduating high school student athletes. Nominations can be made online via the Augusta Sports Council website until April 1, 2025.
THE CARSON SCHOLARS FUND - $1,000.00
The Carson Scholars Fund awards $1,000 college scholarships to students in grades 4-11 who excel academically and are dedicated to serving their communities. Previous winners are eligible to reapply – please visit the Current Scholar page for more information. Students must attend an accredited K-12 school in the United States. An interested student must be nominated by an educator at his or her school to be able to compete Application Request
The Gates Scholarship
A highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance* that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by FAFSA.
The Georgia Military Service Scholarship
The Georgia Military Service Scholarship is worth about $85,000+ over four years!
The State of Georgia funds 42 full scholarships per year to Georgia high school seniors who agree to enlist in the Georgia Army National Guard, attend the University of North Georgia, participate in the Corps of Cadets, and commission as officers in the Georgia Army National Guard after graduating with their bachelor's degrees.
The scholarship covers almost all of your expenses, including tuition, books, uniforms, fees, meals, and housing.

The Leroy Steed Educational Scholarship
Amount: $1000
This scholarship will be awarded for outstanding essays that demonstrate moral fiber which reflect an appreciation of the exemplary character and soldierly virtues of Mr. Steed. The applicant must be a senior, not have received the Leroy Steed Scholarship in the past, be a resident of Augusta-Richmond County and have attended an RC high school during both junior and senior years.

VFW Auxiliary's Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest - Awards totaling $31,500.00
The contest began in 1979 to recognize up-and-coming artists and encourage patriotism in youth.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
- Students in grades 9-12 by the March 31 deadline who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States, its territories and possessions; or dependents of U.S. military or civilian personnel in overseas schools.
- Student must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
- Student does not have to be related to a VFW or VFW Auxiliary member to participate, but the student must attend school in the same state as the sponsoring VFW Auxiliary.
- Foreign exchange students, students age 20 or older, GED and adult education students, or national winners of previous Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contests are ineligible.
Watson Brown Foundation Scholarship
$6,000 per year ($24,000 total)
