Student Services

The Department of Student Services is a support unit of the Richmond County School System that encompasses many areas of specialization.  The primary goal is to provide the highest level of support to students, staff, parents and the community of Richmond County. 

Supports include School Counseling, School Social Work, School Nursing, Student Records, Psychological Services, Research, Hospital/Homebound Services, Crisis Intervention, Homeless Education, and Community and Family Engagement. This department also oversees the design and implementation of a comprehensive state and local testing program.  It collects, organizes and disseminates data to schools, parents, administrators, and board members to enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions for improving student learning.
