Georgia's K-12 English Language Arts Standards

The Richmond County School System is implementing Georgia’s K–12 English Language Arts Standards through a structured literacy approach. Literacy is a top priority across all grade levels, and we are committed to ensuring every student develops the skills necessary for interpreting and constructing texts. Our educators are utilizing research-based instructional strategies that align with the Science of Reading to deliver engaging and rigorous learning experiences.
