Instructional Resources and Textbooks

The mission of the Instructional Resource team is to provide essential and quality resources across all content areas that support instruction and allow for equitable access for all students. 

This office:

• Coordinates and facilitates the adoption of new instructional resources.

• Manages the ordering and procurement of instructional resources.

• Ensures all schools maintain sufficient inventory so every student has access to required resources.

• Provides guidance on the cataloging, distribution, and inventory management of resources.

• Maintains the Destiny database for instructional resource and textbook records.

• Generates inventory and accountability reports for all school sites.

• Facilitates the review and vetting process for all instructional software through a diverse committee that includes representatives from departments with relevant expertise and an understanding of the work.

• Maintains an inventory  of all reviewed instructional software.
