School News

On May 2, the Georgia Student Media Festival was held in Clayton County, Georgia.  Richmond County entered 53 projects at the state level this year, and 25 of those scored 96 or above, qualifying them to move on to the International Student Media Festival.  To view the winning projects, click here.

Langford Middle School has completed the International Baccalaureate MYP Authorization process and we are pleased to announce that we are officially an IB World School

66 Hours is a film presented by the faculty and students at the Academy of Richmond County & the Quinton Aaron Foundation.  The film deals with bullying in school.  The Quinton Aaron Foundation was invited to submit 66 Hours to the Sundance Film Festival and it was accepted in the under 10 minute short film category!  Congratulations to the faculty and students at ARC for an Awesome Performance and job WELL DONE!!!
