Building a world-class school system through education, collaboration, and innovation.
Morgan Road Middle School was recognized as the 3rd place winner in the MLK Service Day Project, which was lead by Ms. Elliott and the Beta Club. We collected over 250 items that totaled $1,129.75. Special thanks to everyone who supported this event!
I feel fortunate to be a part of a school culture focused on student learning, a commitment to high expectations, and student success. We are all committed to providing a positive, challenging, and academically oriented learning environment for all of our students. With the help and support of all stakeholders, my goal is to challenge our students intellectually, grow them socially, and guide them toward independent thinking and problem solving.
Our dynamic staff of experienced and dedicated professionals are committed to helping all students reach their full potential. Our goal is to provide learning activities which require high levels of critical thinking and reasoning, accompanied by application of learning to real-world situations in the areas of Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Additionally, teachers will be focusing on specific skills in each of the content areas that, based on achievement data, need improvement. Besides working in these content areas, an emphasis on reading and writing skills will be evident in all content areas.
I look forward to successful school year. Please stay involved, and call on your child’s teacher, counselor, or administrator for any assistance you may need during the 2018-2019 school year.
Principal's Chat 'n Chew is held every first Friday at Morgan Road Middle in the Parent room.
