RISE Augusta is committed to unlocking the potential of every child by providing support and resources along their educational journey. From meeting basic needs to offering literacy programs and work-skill development, RISE Augusta strives to break the cycle of poverty by fostering student success before it becomes another statistic.
As a dedicated advocate for RPM, RISE Augusta has been a vital member of the RPM Action Committee since 2017-2018. Over the years, their efforts have focused on addressing the basic needs of RPM students—providing food, clothing, shoes, jackets, and even access to health and dental care.
In recent years, RISE Augusta has implemented its STRIVE Program at RPM. The program is designed to guide students toward viable careers or higher education. With an emphasis on soft skills, STRIVE helps students overcome interpersonal challenges and educates them on expected workplace behaviors, resume development, job searching, interviewing, and basic financial literacy.
THANK YOU, RISE AUGUSTA!

Mrs. Kristin Bowman
RPM is proud to spotlight Mrs. Kristin Bowman, a valued and dedicated member of our community. Kristin, a wife and mother of three, has lived in Evans, Georgia, for the past four years since relocating from Texas. Her connection to RPM began through her husband, Phillip Bowman, who oversees the manufacturing side of the organization. Through Phillip, Kristin learned about the remarkable students at RPM, many of whom face significant life challenges at a young age.
Kristin's personal experiences allow her to relate deeply to RPM students. Like some RPM students, she became a mother in high school and juggled school and work to support her daughter. One memory that stands out for Kristin is a student who, on the Secret Santa list, simply asked for love—an emotional moment that touched her deeply. Inspired by this, Kristin sought ways to become more involved in supporting RPM students. She now volunteers regularly, contributing to parenting workshops for young mothers and participating in parent support groups.
RPM is truly honored to have Kristin Bowman as part of our community, and we appreciate her dedication to making a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
THANK YOU, KRISTIN BOWMAN!
