Each year, the faculty at Willis Foreman Elementary School votes to award an outstanding teacher with the title of Teacher of the Year for our school.  The characteristics considered in choosing this teacher include an ability to develop relationships with their students, a patient, caring, and kind personality, a dedication to teaching, and a way of engaging students in learning.  Willis Foreman's Teacher of the Year joins teachers from other schools in Richmond County to vie for Richmond County School System's Teacher of the Year.
