My name is Melinda Hudson. I reside in McDuffie County, Georgia with four children and one guardian angel. I graduated from Thomson High School in the class of 1994. After graduation, I enlisted in the United States Army Reserves as a 94 Echo (Dental Assistant). During my eight years in the military, I completed my undergraduate degree at Augusta State University. I have a dual Undergraduate Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology, a Master of Education in Counseling and Psychology, an Educational Specialist in Teaching and Learning, and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.

 

 

This is my eighteenth year of teaching. I am extremely passionate about working with children with special needs. My goal is to instill that same compassion and enthusiasm to help every student achieve his/her goals. I go to great lengths to teach the needs of our children, and it is my hope that I have fostered lifelong learning skills in all the students I have come in contact with. In my spare time, I love cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
