    Dear Parents and Guardians,

    Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. M. Bradley. I have been employed with the Richmond County Board of Education since 1989. I began my career as a Paraprofessional at the Richmond County Alternative Center. I began teaching English/ Language Arts in 1993 at Laney High School. Since then, I have taught at the Richmond County Alternative Center and Glenn Hills High School. In 2007-2008, I began a new and exciting career as a Professional School Counselor at Butler High School. Beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, I became an elementary school counselor at Lamar- Milledge Elementary.

    As the counselor in the building, I am very excited to work with you and your child throughout the 2021-22 school year!  If you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year in which I may support your child, please don't hesitate to contact me.  If you're unsure about what a counselor does, here are some highlights:

     *  Attends meetings
     How does my child get to see the Counselor?
     *  Teacher, parent, principal, or student request
     *  Students may leave a message for me in my mailbox in the Front Office
     *  Parents/Guardians - feel free to call or email me
    When does my child need to see the Counselor?
     *  To share good news....
     *  When having problems with a friend, home, etc. that may be difficult to cope with
     *  When a problem is making it hard to focus in the classroom
     *  When your child needs to express feelings
    I look forward to meeting you and working with your child this school year.
