Syllabus

August 7, 2017

Dear Parents,

As we embark upon this journey of fourth grade it is my pleasure to have the opportunity to work with your child to ensure that he/she is reaching their academic potential. Fourth grade is challenging as students become more independent learners, become more socially interactive, and challenge one another just to see who can achieve a desired goal more readily than another.

Homework will be given daily, spelling words weekly and a newsletter is available for parents on School wire regarding any relevant or pertinent information regarding your child. Class Dojo is another facet we will incorporate into our classroom which will allow you to have access to your child’s behavior. Please submit your e-mail information to me as soon as possible in order for me to facilitate the process as expeditiously as possible.

Every nine weeks will be loaded with tons of work and activities in each subject area. You can keep up with what we are doing or will be doing each nine weeks. (See attachment) If there are any questions or concerns feel free to ask.

I look forward to working with you through communication and collaboration. I am available for conferences any day of the week at 3:30 P.M. Please call the office to schedule an appointment so that I may have any information we need to discuss readily available.  I can be reached at 706-796-4915.

Thank You,

Ms. Murphy
